Our story – How it all began

In 2001, Bernard Hofmann had a vision: a user-friendly and affordable CAD programme. As an electrician, he understood the challenges of existing software – complicated, expensive, inefficient. With courage and dedication, he developed RED CAD. A lot of hard work, a fair amount of courage and certainly some naivety later, RED CAD celebrated its premiere at the Ineltec trade fair in Basel in 2006 – and impressed customers right from the start. Many of our customers from back then are now friends and still our customers today. Today, RED CAD is a reliable planning tool.

RED CAD must be simple! The challenge of our development is great. The easier something is to use, the more complicated the development behind it is. Countless lines of complex code are necessary to make RED CAD so easy to use.

Do you have a request, or is there a feature you're missing? Bring it on! Unfortunately, we can't implement all customer requests. However, we record all requests and implement them as soon as a feature is requested by several customers.
