2026 Customer Survey: We asked – our customers replied

We wanted to know how our customers experience RED CAD in their day-to-day work. That is why we conducted a survey on our software and our service.

We are delighted with the results: many respondents rated both RED CAD and our support positively, and particularly appreciated the ease of use, the practical functions and the personalised support. The outpouring of praise motivates our entire team and confirms that we are on the right track. At the same time, the feedback provides us with a valuable basis for continuously developing RED CAD and tailoring it even better to our customers’ needs.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who took the time to participate. Your feedback helps us to improve a little bit every day.

RED CAD joins the E Brand Alliance 

At Light + Building 2026, RED CAD officially signed the E Brand Partner Agreement with the Central Association of German Electrical and Information Technology Trades (ZVEH). By joining, we are not only strengthening an important industry alliance – we are also sending a clear signal regarding the ongoing digitalisation of the electrical trade. 

Working together for quality in the electrical trade 
Stefan Ehinger, President of the Central Association of German Electrical and Information Technology Trades (ZVEH), welcomed the new partnership, saying: “Digital planning in 2D or 3D has long been standard practice. We are therefore particularly pleased to welcome RED CAD, a leading provider of CAD systems, as a new E-Brand Partner.” This is also an important step for RED CAD. Sabine Bamberger, Managing Director of RED CAD Solutions AG, explains: “As a Swiss company, we value the high quality of the German electrical trade – a quality that the ZVEH plays a key role in ensuring. Through our E-Brand partnership, we aim to support this strong sector and are very much looking forward to the collaboration.” 

About the E-Mark Alliance 
Since 2008, the E-Mark Alliance has stood for quality in the electrical trade. Around 80 partner companies from industry, wholesale and the insurance sector now form part of the network. Over 8,500 E-Mark businesses carry the quality mark.

Learners work with the same software that is used in practice. This helps them develop an early understanding of structured planning and digital work processes. With RED CAD, they can quickly create professional plans that enable easy collaboration with other trades.

New Metaroom and RED CAD interface

Instead of a tape measure and sketchpad, the iPhone or iPad Pro is now used: with the Metaroom app, existing rooms can be digitally surveyed in just a few minutes – accurately, systematically and comprehensively. From now on, this room data can be processed directly in RED CAD.

Metaroom is a platform for the rapid and accurate digital surveying of interior spaces. With the Metaroom Scan app, rooms can be digitally captured in just a few minutes using a LiDAR-enabled iPhone Pro or iPad Pro. What used to take hours of manual work – tape measures, sketches, post-processing – is now replaced by a single scan. Doors, windows and room structures are automatically recognised and transferred as editable elements.

The 3D models or 2D floor plans automatically generated from the scan are imported into the RED CAD app via the new interface. Importing from Metaroom Scan into RED CAD saves a huge amount of time when planning in existing buildings. This makes the integration particularly attractive for specialist planning offices that want to digitise many existing building projects whilst saving time. The new interface between Metaroom and RED CAD is available now.

E-NNOVATION 2025 – A resounding success! 

We have just come through three exciting days filled with stimulating discussions and great interest in our CAD software. The direct interaction with visitors and customers, as well as the unique atmosphere of the trade fair, have inspired and delighted us. The informative presentations, panel discussions and industry talks, which shed light on key topics in the electrical sector, were particularly valuable. As exhibitors, we found E-NNOVATION to be a first-class platform that puts networking and innovation at the heart of the event. 

A big thank you to the organisers for this fantastic event! Many thanks to all visitors – we are already looking forward to the next edition in 2027! 🚀

RED CAD is a new member of the Austrian Electricians’ Association 

We are delighted to be a brand partner of the Austrian Electricians’ Association! This membership enables us to strengthen our direct engagement with the industry, keep even closer track of current developments, and further develop RED CAD in a targeted manner. 

The Austrian Electricians’ Association acts as a communication platform for the electrical engineering sector. Through expert groups, trade fairs such as E-NNOVATION, collaboration with government departments and vocational schools, as well as the trade magazine E-Players, the association ensures strong networking and knowledge transfer within the industry. 

With our membership, we aim to further strengthen our ties with the electrical industry and play an active role in shaping its future. We look forward to the exchange and many exciting ideas! Thank you, Daniel Bamberger!

After more than 12 years at RED CAD, we are saying goodbye to Daniel Bamberger, who will be taking on new professional challenges from January 2025. During this long period, we have experienced a lot together and achieved many milestones. His active role in the launch of the RED CAD APP at Electro Tec in Bern and his significant involvement in two relaunches of our website were particularly memorable. In addition, he drove forward the implementation of our new ERP and CRM system, providing important impetus in the process. He personally trained more than 350 users on site, thus making a decisive contribution to the successful use of our software. Another highlight was his great commitment to the fire protection project in the RED CAD APP, which he actively helped to develop.

 For Daniel, working at RED CAD has always been a real ‘matter of the heart’. We are grateful for everything he has done for our team and our customers over the past years and wish him all the best for the future.  

We look forward to our paths crossing again in the future!

We would like to thank you for participating in our survey and for your valuable feedback! Your answers inspire and motivate us to continuously improve RED CAD.  

We are also proud that over 90% of participants are generally satisfied or extremely satisfied with RED CAD. The RED CAD service is also particularly noteworthy – those who have already used it greatly appreciate it.  

Your suggestions for improvement and requests are extremely valuable to us and we are always open to hearing them. We take your suggestions seriously and will continue to work on optimising our product and service.

Thank you, Wolfgang Neumann!

Our esteemed colleague Wolfgang Neumann is taking his well-deserved retirement. We are genuinely happy for him, but at the same time we regret his departure, as we are losing a long-standing colleague and competent employee at RED CAD. Wolfgang Neumann was responsible for RED CAD sales in Austria and looked after customers there with his friendly manner.  

From 1 July 2024, our sales team in Biberist, Switzerland, will take over his area of responsibility.  Our support team  is happy to assist you with all your enquiries.

ESYLUX relies on RED CAD
